The Couture Concept

While many of the items on this website can be ordered online by using our contact page for inquiries...   This is not your typical internet catalog store.  The nature of Couture clothing does not necessarily lend itself to a point/click/buy environment.  The reason… Couture is defined as “the design and manufacture of fashionable clothes to a client's specific requirements and measurements ”.  

Your couture clothing order will require a certain amount of client interactivity with the designer or our sales staff. This can include choosing fabric, colors, customization options, and sizing.  As a couture designer, Laura would be working directly with you, making the creation your gown or outfit a uniquely personalized experience.

Ordering Online or from the Store

Many of the designs that you see on this site may be in stock to order “off the rack”.  These items are limited to availability.  Use the contact page to email us and find out if we have what you desire in the store.  Please include the style number and the preferred size for each item.  Our store sales staff will get back to you, generally within 24 hours.  

If the item is not in stock, call the store and work with our staff to order the item for you.  Our staff can also make an in store or telephone appointment for you with Laura so that she may give you the highest level of personal attention that there is.  Or, just drop in if you can!

Laura has fulfilled orders for clients at a great distances.  She will you send swatches of fabric for your approval and telephone contact is recommended so that Laura can discover your personal tastes and requirements. Use the contact page and email us to get things started.

Using the Website as a Shopping Aid

This website can function as a personal shopping tool if you call the store and work directly with our staff.  Our in store sales staff will browse the website with you, answering questions you may have about the items that you see.  They can also help you regarding anything that you may have dreamed about having made for you.

Then Laura, or store staff members, will explain how to use the sizing chart and the Croque to help you take your own measurements insuring an accurate fit of any garment that Laura makes for you.
